The QZ Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable enables you to extend video from Mini DisplayPort/DisplayPort equipped laptop or tablet to a DisplayPort/Mini DisplayPort equipped display (Bi-directional). Enjoy movies on the big screen HDTV, extend your laptop to a second monitor for an expanded workstation.Note:
This cable Bi-directional, can convert signal from Mini DP to DP or from DP to Mini DP.
For DP to mDP function, monitor's Mini DP port must support video transmitting.
Although the transmission is bi-directional, the MacBook Air/Pro/iMac can only be output source while they CAN'T be an external screen.
It's a Mini DisplayPort, NOT Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C). The other end is a DisplayPort, NOT an HDMI port.
For HDR to function, both of your input and output devices must support HDR.
